From helping newborns to teenagers, Dr. Justin DC is extensively trained as a pediatric chiropractor to help your children grow, develop and flourish. There are many milestones along the way as children grow that are accompanied by bumps and falls that affect your child’s growth and most importantly their development.
Upon examination, we often find nerve disturbances called subluxations associated with many types of common childhood health complaints.
While the effects of these nervous system compromises go by a variety of names, chiropractic is not a treatment for them! Our primary aim is to locate and reduce the underlying subluxation on the nervous system.
Dr. Justin DC focuses on the stress that is stuck in your child’s body. We call those stresses subluxations. This removal allows your child to function at their optimal level.
We recommend that your infant or child start pediatric chiropractic care as soon as possible after birth. Dr. Justin DC will take an in-depth history of the child starting from pregnancy, going through birth and any trauma they might have experienced. We perform a neurological scan using the Insight™ Subluxation Station to identify areas of stress in the body and create the appropriate care plan.
Since they can’t communicate like adults and let us know what their issue is, these scans are vital in identifying problem areas. Once located, we use a gentle touch to remove the interference in the nervous system. Chiropractic adjustments for a child are different than that of an adult. On our youngest patients, we use the pressure that would be required to test the ripeness of a tomato. It’s very soft, and there is no popping, cracking or twisting.
When your child’s health has been restored, we can prevent future problems with ongoing care.
It’s become commonplace that children and adults are diagnosed with ADHD, sensory issues, OCD and more. During Dr. Justin’s DC talk, “The Perfect Storm”, he’ll discuss the common ingredients in today’s world that add up to big problems.
